1. Scope and operator
Pixel Perfect UG, Stettiner Str. 41, 61348 Bad Homburg, Germany. Managing director: Patrick Rousselet. Commercial register: Amtsgericht Bad Homburg, HRB 14301. EUID: DEM1202.HRB14301. Support, privacy and legal notices: support@onhatch.gg.
Hatch is an indie game publishing, discovery and community platform. The public beta offers free accounts and games to adults aged 18 or older. Payments are not available. Availability, features and supported platforms can change during the beta. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. Accounts and acceptance
Hatch account registration is open to adults aged 18 or older; no invitation is required. Accept the terms during registration and verify your email before signing in. The adult checkbox is a declaration, not identity or age verification. Use an account you are authorized to use, protect its credentials and report suspected misuse through Support. Do not impersonate another person, bypass access controls or create accounts to manipulate reviews or activity rankings.
3. Games and player conduct
A library entry grants access to the available release through Hatch; it does not transfer copyright. Use a game only as permitted by its creator's applicable license and mandatory law. Hatch does not promise that a third-party game is compatible with every computer, continuously available or free of defects. Game software runs with the permissions of your operating-system account.
Do not distribute malware, steal credentials, exploit other users, harass or threaten people, publish private information without a lawful basis, upload unlawful sexual or exploitative material, infringe intellectual-property rights, or use Hatch for fraud. Reviews must reflect your honest experience; disclose relevant connections. Publishers cannot review their own games.
4. Publisher permissions and duties
You retain your rights in games and other content. You give Hatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, copy, inspect, display and deliver the content as reasonably needed to operate the service and the releases you choose to publish. This does not grant unrelated merchandising or model-training rights. You must have authority to grant these permissions, including for code, art, music, trademarks and third-party components. AI-assisted creation does not remove that responsibility.
You must follow the Publisher Upload Rules and affirm the declaration for each new package. Provide accurate descriptions and disclose material permissions, network behavior, required dependencies and data collection. Do not hide installers, miners, surveillance, destructive behavior or unlawful content inside a game. Use reasonable care to inspect your export and promptly tell the operator about vulnerabilities, rights disputes or harmful behavior you discover.
5. Review, restriction and withdrawal
Uploading does not publish a game. Packages must pass structural inspection and current malware scanning before approval and release. Failed, quarantined, revoked or stale-scanned packages cannot receive new delivery authorization. Automatic approval applies the configured checks; moderators can restrict content following a report. Scanning does not guarantee that software is harmless.
Use Report content without an account, Support & reports while signed in, or support@onhatch.gg to report illegal content, rights infringements or safety concerns. Include the content URL, your reasons and supporting information. Moderators review reports and record decisions and reasons. Affected users and eligible reporters can use the available appeal controls for an independent review. Suspended users retain access to decisions and appeals. Judicial and other rights provided by law remain available.
Restrictions prevent new access through Hatch but cannot erase copies already downloaded. Closing an account does not automatically remove records that must be retained for legal claims, safety incidents or publisher obligations.
6. Liability and mandatory rights
Responsibility depends on the circumstances and applicable law. No term excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited, including applicable protections for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Publisher declarations and malware checks do not release Hatch from its own duties.
The Windows public beta client is initially distributed without a digital publisher signature. Windows may warn about or block it. Installers are supplied at https://onhatch.gg/client and client updates initially require a manual download. This disclosure does not ask users to disable operating-system protections. The service does not promise that a third-party game works on every device or is free of defects.
7. Changes and ending participation
You can stop using Hatch and use Account settings to export data or request account deletion. Eligible player accounts can be deleted directly. Publisher accounts and accounts with open disputes require review; a pending request is not confirmation that all data has been erased. Contact support@onhatch.gg for assistance.
Terms acceptance is recorded during registration. Existing acceptance receipts are preserved and are not rewritten when documents change. We will communicate material changes as required and obtain additional agreement where necessary; this page does not treat earlier users as having accepted a new revision.
